About Tiny Hands Club
Tiny Hands Club is a teacher-led after school program in Langley, designed to provide school-age children with a structured, engaging, and enriching experience beyond the school day.

Lead with Purpose
We’re seeking a passionate and organized Program Leader to oversee our after school program for children ages 5–12.
In this dynamic role, you will lead daily program operations, mentor staff, and deliver engaging, high-quality programming in a structured and positive environment.
You’ll play a key role in creating a program that children look forward to each day — combining hands-on learning, creativity, and leadership development.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and oversee daily program operations from school pickups to end-of-day routines

Plan and deliver engaging hands-on activities (science experiments, STEM projects, creative and group-based programming)

Guide children using positive behaviour strategies

Foster strong, professional relationships with children, families, and team members

Support and mentor staff to maintain a consistent and high-quality program environment

Manage transitions, routines, and overall program flow with confidence and organization

Manage staff scheduling, including shift planning and sick call coverage

Maintain a clean, organized, and professional program space
-
Complete administrative tasks such as attendance tracking, communication, and basic reporting
-
Run mommy & me classes such as sensory story time.
Qualifications – You Bring:

Must be at least 19 years of age
-
Experience working or volunteering with school-age children (ages 5–12)

Minimum 1 year of experience in a leadership or supervisory role, or demonstrated leadership in a group setting

Strong ability to lead activities, manage group dynamics, and create a structured environment
-
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
-
Organized, reliable, and confident in a fast-paced program setting
-
Emergency First Aid & CPR certification (or willingness to obtain within 90 days of hire)

Training or education in child development, education, or a related field is considered an asset
-
Ability to work collaboratively and take initiative within a team environment
Additional Requirements

Must provide 2 professional references

Must complete a Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search (issued within 6 months prior to start date)
Position Details
-
Hours: Monday–Friday, approximately 2:30 PM – 5:30 PM
-
Available for weekends if necessary ( for birthday parties)
-
Available for occasional day time hours for Mommy & Me Classes.

Expected Hours: 20–30 hours per week

Start Date: September 2026
Compensation
-
$25.00 – $28.00 per hour, based on experience
