About Tiny Hands Club

Tiny Hands Club is a growing, community-focused space offering Mommy & Me programs and instructor-led after school program designed to support both children and parents.

We are expanding our wellness offerings and are looking for a passionate Pilates Instructor (mat style) to lead our Postpartum Pilates and Intermediate Pilates Classes.

Job Overview

We are seeking a confident and knowledgeable Mat Pilates Instructor to lead two small-group classes:

  • Postpartum Pilates – focused on recovery, core restoration, and pelvic floor connection

  • Intermediate Pilates – focused on strengthening the core, arms, glutes, and overall body through controlled movement

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with women at different stages, particularly postpartum, and can create a welcoming and supportive class environment.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and lead engaging, safe, and effective mat Pilates classes ( Post Partum & Intermediate classes)

  • Provide clear instruction, modifications, and progressions

  • Ensure exercises are appropriate for postpartum clients

  • Create a supportive, welcoming, and inclusive class environment

  • Communicate professionally with participants and staff

  • Maintain a clean and organized studio space

  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth class flow

  • Ensure all verbal instructions are clear and that the volume, tempo of music and overall atmosphere is conducive to hearing, teaching, learning and having fun

Qualifications – You Bring:

  • Experience teaching group fitness or Pilates classes

  • Knowledge of postpartum recovery and pelvic floor/core work

  • Ability to modify exercises for different fitness levels

  • Strong communication and cueing skills

  • Positive, professional, and encouraging teaching style

  • Comfortable working in a mom + baby / child-friendly environment

  • Strong leadership skills, with ability to motivate and influence people

Additional Assets (Preferred):

  • Postnatal / pre & postnatal fitness certification

  • Experience teaching Mommy & Me style classes

  • Background in physiotherapy, kinesiology, or fitness training

Position Details

  • Part-time (4 classes per week to start)

  • Opportunity to grow class offerings over time

  • Flexible scheduling based on availability

  • Mornings 9:30am-11am. Tuesdays & Saturdays.
